Ghost Frame is built with privacy first. Your images are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded to our servers. We do not sell your data to third parties.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your email address, used to identify your account
- A password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your plain-text password)
- Project metadata: names, creation dates, and effect settings you save
We do not collect or store the images you process. Image processing happens entirely within your browser via the Canvas API.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used to:
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session
- Save and sync your projects across devices
- Send transactional emails (password resets, account changes)
- Improve the Service based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns
We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. Your Images
Ghost Frame processes images entirely client-side. When you upload an image to the editor, it is loaded into your browser's memory and never transmitted to Ghost Frame's servers.
Exported images are downloaded directly to your device. We do not receive, store, or have access to any images you create or export.
4. Data Storage and Security
Account data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encryption at rest and in transit. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
Ghost Frame uses browser local storage to maintain your session and remember editor preferences (such as last-used effect and settings). No tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies are used.
6. Third-Party Services
Ghost Frame uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication provider
These services have their own privacy policies and handle data according to their own terms. We only share the minimum data necessary to operate these services.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your project data
